International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival Docudays UA

Docudays UA is a member of the Human Rights Film Network and taking place on the last week of March in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. The festival showcases the best examples of documentary films from all over the world exploring a broad range of issues related to human rights. The human rights educational program is an integral component of our festival — all of our screenings are followed by Q&A sessions with filmmakers and discussions with invited experts. Each year Docudays UA also organizes the Travelling Docudays UA festival in 23 regions of Ukraine and a large number of other post-festival screenings all over the country, often in cooperation with renowned cultural and educational institutions, festivals and human rights organizations, thus contributing to the ongoing dialogue about human rights in Ukrainian society.

Open Society Initiative For Europe

In a time of disillusionment and uncertainty, the Open Society Initiative for Europe endeavors to strengthen the rights, voice, and democratic power of society's least privileged groups, and thus make democracy work better for all in Europe. The prorram supports organizations that channel active participation in democracy by majorities and minorities alike, and that uphold open society values, particularly in places where the rollback of civil and political rights is most severe.
